STRENSHAM

For Morgan Sindall Construction

A modular salt barn was built in Strensham, featuring an innovative, lightweight design. By manufacturing off-site and minimising transportation, the project saved a total of 441 tonnes of carbon compared to the construction of a conventional salt barn.

BATH & NE SOMERSET

Eliptical Dome for new multi-use site

Providing over 1,000T of salt storage, this elliptical dome was constructed as part of a regeneration scheme for the local authority on a new multi-use site.
 


BELLSHILL

LD41 for North
Lanarkshire Council

Operational and resilience store for up to 10,000 tonnes of salt. Groundworks and Eurodome® installation including lighting and ventilation


BATHGATE

For Balfour Beatty/West Lothian Council

Two RD41 Eurodomes® at Whitehill, one for operational use (12,000 tonnes) and the other as a strategic store (15,000 tonnes). Included R/C slabs, Eurodome® construction, ventilation and lighting

STRENSHAM

Turnkey offering for National Highways

An operational barn serving a large portion of the M5 and its surrounding network, this dome includes for over 3000T of salt storge, with a separate internal compound for white salt used in the production of treated salt. Eurodome also providing the dome slab and extension for the brine tanks.


OWER (M3)

LD46 for Highways England Area 3 Enterprise Mouchel.

Strategic store for 22,000 tonnes of salt. Concrete pad construction, Eurodome® installation with roll shutter door, solar panels & lighting/ventilation

LD27 for Gloucestershire County Council in the Forest of Dean

Operational depot.4,000 tonnes capacity. Dome r/c wall clad in timber at planners request

CUMBRIA

LD-21 operational salt store

On behalf of the local authority, Balfour Beatty engaged Eurodome to design and build a 2,000T salt store. The LD-21 was built in 8 weeks onto the slab constructed by Eurodome.

Council

Operational depot. Eurodome® barrel building to suit rectangular site. To hold 5,000 tonnes of salt. Groundworks including piling, Eurodome® installation, lighting and ventilation

At one of the most exposed Highways England operational depots in England an elliptical DE25x32 Eurodome® holding 4,500 tonnes of salt
