What does Eurodome design and build?

We design, manufacture and install bulk storage building solutions, and we offer four main types of structure: container canopies, dome timber barns, fabric buildings and sliding roofs. Each suits a different need, from fast, relocatable covered space to permanent, large-capacity storage, so the right choice comes down to what you are storing, your site and how long you need it.
Whatever you choose, we look after the whole project in-house, from first design to installation and long-term upkeep. Where does Eurodome work?

We work across the UK and Ireland. We are based in Stirling, Scotland, and our own crews travel to sites throughout the country, from local authority depots and highway sites to commercial and industrial yards. Handling projects nationally means the service does not change with your location: the same team designs your structure, manages the groundworks and installation, and looks after it afterwards. If you are unsure whether we can reach your site, just ask and we will let you know.
Do you only work with councils and highway
authorities?

Not at all. Councils, highway authorities and national infrastructure are a big part of our heritage, particularly for salt and grit storage, and that public-sector track record is something we are proud of. But we build for commercial and private operations just as much, across construction, logistics, waste and recycling, ports, aviation, agriculture and manufacturing. Wherever there is a need for durable covered storage or workspace, our structures earn their place. If you are a commercial buyer, you get exactly the same engineering, accreditations and service that public-sector clients rely on.
Do you handle the whole project or just supply the structure?

We handle the whole thing. Eurodome is a full turnkey supplier, so one team takes your project from first design through to a finished, working structure and beyond. That includes design and engineering, planning support, off-site manufacture, groundworks and foundations, the build itself, and electrics or lighting where needed.
Because we design, make and install in-house rather than subcontracting it out, you deal with one accountable team and one fixed price, not a chain of separate suppliers. When the structure is handed over, we are still here for maintenance and repairs for years to come.

Is Eurodome accredited, and how experienced are you?
Yes. Planning is part of the service, and it is something we deal with regularly, including on public-sector and infrastructure sites. At the design stage we advise you on whether your structure is likely to need planning permission or falls under permitted development, which depends on its size, use, siting and how long it will be in place.
If an application is needed, we prepare and submit the drawings and supporting documents your local authority expects, and manage the process through to approval, so planning does not hold up your build. We will always give you an honest read on where you stand before you commit.
It depends on the structure, its size and the site, so we confirm a clear programme with your quotation rather than quote a single figure. A container canopy or sliding roof that mounts onto what you already have can be installed quickly, while a large dome timber barn or fabric building with full groundworks is a longer project, because design, planning, off-site manufacture and foundations all take time.
The biggest single variable is usually planning. If an application is required, that tends to set the timeline more than the build itself, which is why we start on design and planning early. Once those are in hand, our off-site manufacturing and experienced crews keep the build fast. Tell us your deadline and we will give you an honest view on whether it is achievable.
Yes. We work to fixed-price costing, so the quotation you approve is the price you pay. We price the whole job up front, covering design, manufacture, groundworks and installation, so you are not caught out by extras appearing later.
The only things that would change a fixed price are changes you ask for, or genuine unknowns such as unexpected ground conditions, and we would always talk those through with you before doing anything. It makes budgeting straightforward, which matters particularly for public-sector and commercial buyers working to a set budget.
How long does it take from enquiry to finished
building?
For most projects, payment is arranged in agreed stages across the job rather than all at once, and we set the schedule out clearly in your quotation and contract before any work begins, so you know exactly what is due and when.
Because every project differs in size and scope, the exact terms are confirmed as part of your quotation. If you have particular requirements, for example around public-sector procurement or purchase orders, tell us and we will work with you.
Our structures are built to last for decades, and they are backed by warranties that vary by product and specification. Fabric covers and steel frames carry their own warranty periods, while our timber dome barns are engineered for a very long service life, with many still in use after 40 years. The exact warranty for your structure is confirmed in writing as part of your quotation.
Beyond the formal warranty, the real reassurance is that we are still here long after handover to maintain, repair and re-sheet what we build, so your structure is looked after for the long term.
Yes, and it is a core part of what we do. Because we design, manufacture and install every structure ourselves, we know them inside out and stay involved long after handover. We offer inspections and servicing to keep your structure performing, and we repair storm damage and general wear as it arises.
When a fabric cover eventually reaches the end of its life, we re-sheet it for a fraction of the cost of replacement. Whether you want a one-off visit or a regular maintenance arrangement, the same team that built your structure keeps it in good order.
Often, yes. If you have an ageing canopy, barn or fabric building from another supplier, we can usually inspect it and carry out repairs or a re-sheet to extend its life, rather than you having to replace the whole thing. We assess the frame and cover honestly and tell you what actually needs doing, so you only pay for what is necessary.
It is a cost-effective way to get years more service out of an existing structure, and a good place to start if you have inherited a building and are not sure what condition it is in.
Yes. We hold CHAS accreditation at Gold tier, Constructionline Gold, IPAF, ISO 9001 for quality management and ISO 14001 for environmental management, so we meet the standards public-sector and commercial buyers expect, and our procurement paperwork is straightforward as a result.
