A new lease of life, not a new building
A damaged or ageing structure does not always mean starting again. A prompt repair or a fresh cover can keep a building working for years, and it costs far less than replacing the whole thing.
We repair storm and impact damage, patch and re-tension worn covers, and re-sheet fabric buildings that have reached the end of their original cover's life. Whatever state your structure is in, we will tell you honestly what it needs.
Repairs, done before small problems grow
Damage rarely fixes itself. A small tear, a loose panel or a bit of storm damage will only get worse once the weather gets in, exposing whatever you are storing and the structure itself to bigger, costlier problems.
Get it seen to quickly and it usually stays a small job. Our crews handle repairs across all our structure types, including:
Tears, holes and worn areas in the fabric cover
Storm, wind and accidental impact damage
Loose or damaged panels, fixings, doors and shutters
Structural repairs to frames and foundations
Re-sheeting that extends your building's life
The fabric cover takes the brunt of the weather, so it is usually the first thing to wear out, often decades after the building went up. When it does, you do not need a whole new structure. A re-sheet gives you a brand new cover on your existing frame.
It costs far less than a new build, goes up quickly, and comes with a fresh warranty of up to 25 years on the new fabric. Many clients use the opportunity to add insulation, extra doors or better lighting at the same time.
Even if we did not build it
We can repair and re-sheet fabric structures we did not originally supply. If you have the original drawings, great. If not, our team measures and assesses your building and makes a cover to fit.
You get one company to survey, supply and fit, rather than trying to track down the firm that put the building up years ago. And if we think a repair is smarter than a full re-sheet, we will tell you.
How a repair or re-sheet works
Whether it is a quick repair or a full re-sheet, it starts the same way: a proper look at your building. We assess what is really needed, give you an honest recommendation and a clear quote, then our own crews do the work and back any new fabric with a warranty. No pressure to do more than the building needs.
-
Tell us what has happened and what you are seeing, whether that is storm damage, a tear, a slack cover or a building that is simply showing its age. A few photos help. We use this to work out whether you are likely to need a repair or a full re-sheet, and how quickly we need to reach you.
-
Our team visits and inspects the structure properly, checking the cover, frame, fixings and fittings to find everything that needs attention, not just the obvious damage. For a re-sheet we take full measurements, working from your original drawings if you have them or creating our own if you do not.
-
We tell you straight what the building needs. Sometimes a prompt repair is all it takes and a full re-sheet would be a waste of money. Other times the cover is past patching and a re-sheet is the sensible call. Either way you get a clear recommendation and the reasons behind it, with no hard sell.
-
You get a written quote covering exactly what we will do, what it will cost and how long it will take. If a re-sheet is the right route, we will also set out any upgrades worth considering at the same time, such as insulation, extra doors or better lighting, so you can decide with a full picture.
-
Our own crews carry out the work, whether that is a targeted repair or lifting off the old cover and fitting a brand new one to your existing frame. Because we do it ourselves, the job is done properly, safely and with as little disruption to your operation as possible, so you are back to normal sooner.
-
A re-sheet comes with a fresh warranty of up to 25 years on the new fabric, giving your building a genuine new lease of life for a fraction of the cost of replacing it. We can also keep an eye on it from there with regular servicing, so it stays in good order for many years to come.
Installation for every structure
Whatever we build, we install.
Container Canopies
We repair covers and fixings and replace worn canopy sheets on your containers, getting damaged cover back to weathertight fast, with little disruption to your site.
Dome Timber Barns
Timber domes last for decades, but covers and fittings can wear. We repair the structure and renew coverings so your dome keeps doing its job for many years to come.
Fabric Buildings
The classic re-sheet candidate. When the cover reaches the end of its life, we fit a brand new one to your existing frame for a fraction of the cost of a new building.
Sliding Roofs
We service and repair the moving parts and renew worn components, keeping your sliding roof opening and closing smoothly and protecting the salt stored beneath it.
Our latest projects
Throughout the UK and Ireland, we've installed over 180 storage buildings, and many are still in daily use decades on.
Charminster, for Dorset County Council
A 5,000 tonne barrel dome built on piled foundations. Structures like this are designed to serve for decades, and a repair or re-sheet keeps them doing so long after the original cover has done its job.
Watch and see the results for yourself.
