Waste and Recycling Buildings

Waste left in the open causes problems fast: rain adds weight and cost, odour and dust drift off site, and run-off puts your environmental permit at risk.

Enclosing your operation fixes most of that in one move. A covered building keeps material dry so it weighs and costs less to move, contains dust, litter and odour, and captures run-off before it becomes a compliance issue. Inside, a clear span gives loaders, shovels and tipping vehicles room to work in any weather.

Eurodome designs and builds for the whole operation, from large clear-span tipping halls and transfer stations to covered recycling and composting bays. Our fabric buildings, dome barns and Legato-block bays keep material dry, help you meet Environment Agency permit conditions, and go up fast with little disruption to a working site.

Built to handle whatever you throw at it

Eurodome designs, manufactures and installs buildings across the UK and Ireland, with a team that brings decades of combined engineering experience. From our base in Stirling, we've delivered more than 180 structures for waste operators, recyclers, processors and councils, from single bays to full transfer-station buildings.

We handle every stage in-house: design, engineering, planning support, manufacture, groundworks and installation. One accountable team takes your project from first enquiry to handover, with no gaps between separate contractors.

And we hold the accreditations that matter on waste and public-sector sites: CHAS, Constructionline Gold and IPAF, backed by ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 for quality and environmental management. It's the kind of track record that stands up to permit scrutiny and framework tenders.

Whatever you handle, we build for it

Whatever you handle, we can build the right structure for it.

Tipping halls & transfer stations

Large clear-span buildings that let trucks tip, sort and load undercover, keeping waste, dust and odour contained and the operation running whatever the weather.

Recycling & sorting buildings

Bright, column-free space for picking lines, balers and material handling, keeping recyclables dry and to spec through every stage of processing.

Covered bays for loose materials

Fabric roofs on Legato-block or push walls, keeping aggregates, wood, compost and feedstock dry, separated and free from cross-contamination.

RDF, biomass & compost cover

Dry storage for RDF, SRF, biomass and compost, protecting calorific value and helping you manage odour, moisture and run-off on site all year.

The benefits of covering your operation

Enclosing waste and recycling isn't just tidier, it's cheaper to run and far easier to keep compliant. A Eurodome building protects your material, your margins and your environmental permit. Here's what that means in practice.

See the space up close

From clear-span tipping halls to covered recycling bays, take a look at the buildings we design and build. Every one is engineered to its site and its material.

Waste and recycling buildings designed, manufactured & installed

Every Eurodome building is engineered to last and built around your operation. From the frame to the cover on top, the same team designs, manufactures and installs it, so nothing is left to chance. Here are the features that go into every one.

Built for a harsh environment

Waste and recycling sites are harsh places, so we build for it. Our steel trusses are hot-dip galvanised after welding and coating, three times thicker and ten times harder than inline galvanising, and our dome timber barns have no steel to corrode at all. Either way, your building shrugs off damp, dust and daily use for decades.

Long-lasting protection

The fabric cover is built to go the distance. Our Elite fabrics carry a 25-year warranty and standard fabrics 20 years, both engineered to resist UV, weather and daily wear. When the cover reaches the end of its life, we can re-sheet the existing frame rather than replace the whole building.

Our clear-span design puts no columns in the way, from 7.3m up to 64m wide and, on the domes, diameters up to 50m. That gives tipping vehicles, loaders and picking lines the full floor to work, with the height for a proper tipping face and easy vehicle movement even at peak throughput.

Column-free interiors

Accredited and certified

Eurodome holds the accreditations that count on waste and public-sector sites: CHAS, Constructionline Gold and IPAF for safety and procurement, plus ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 for quality and environmental management. It's clear proof every building is built to recognised standards.

Ventilation and run-off managed

We design the building around how waste behaves. Ventilation and translucent roofs keep the air moving and the interior bright, while skirts, gutters and drainage detail contain run-off, so you can manage odour, dust and leachate and keep the site compliant with its permit.

Custom sizing and access

No two sites are the same, so we size every building around your throughput, your vehicles and your process. Span, height, doors and access are all designed around how material flows through the site, and modular designs let you add bays or extend as volumes grow.

Who we work with

Eurodome builds for the operations that handle waste and recycling, from national waste and recycling firms to processors, composters and local authority transfer stations. The same engineering, accreditations and single-team service that get us onto their sites are exactly what your operation needs to stay dry, compliant and running.

Let's talk about your site

Speak to one of our experts about your operation. Tell us what you handle, how much of it and how material moves through the site, and we'll recommend the right building or bays. Call, email or fill out the form and we'll be straight back to you.
