Commodity and Bulk Materials Storage

Left in the open, bulk materials get wet, contaminated and harder to shift, and every tonne of rainwater is a tonne you pay to haul and dry out.

Aggregates, grain, minerals, biomass and recycling feedstock all store better under cover. Keeping them dry protects quality, cuts drying and haulage costs, and helps you meet the run-off and containment conditions on your environmental permit. Separate bays keep different stockpiles apart and free from cross-contamination.

Eurodome designs and builds storage for exactly this: large clear-span fabric buildings and dome barns for bulk stockpiles, and covered Legato-block bays for separating aggregates and recycling. Wide, open floors give loading shovels and conveyors room to work, and every structure is engineered to your site, your materials and your capacity, as a permanent or relocatable build.

The bulk of our experience

Eurodome designs, manufactures and installs buildings across the UK and Ireland, with a team that brings decades of combined engineering experience. From our base in Stirling, we've delivered more than 180 structures for quarries, ports, processors and councils, storing everything from rock salt to aggregates and biomass.

We handle every stage in-house: design, engineering, planning support, manufacture, groundworks and installation. One accountable team takes your project from first enquiry to handover, with no gaps between separate contractors.

And we hold the accreditations that matter on industrial and public-sector sites: CHAS, Constructionline Gold and IPAF, backed by ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 for quality and environmental management. It's the kind of track record that gets us through tenders and onto operational sites.

Whatever you store in bulk, we build for it

Whatever you fly, we can build the right hangar for it.

Clear-span bulk buildings

Large fabric buildings and dome barns that shelter big stockpiles under one roof, keeping grain, biomass, salt and minerals dry and easy to work.

Covered aggregate bays

Fabric roofs on Legato-block or push walls, creating separate bays that keep different aggregates apart, dry and free from cross-contamination.

Port & transfer storage

High-capacity cover for import, export and transfer sites, positioned near quays, rail and road to keep dry bulk moving through your network.

Recycling & feedstock cover

Covered storage for recycling feedstock and processed materials, helping you contain run-off and meet your environmental permit conditions.

The benefits of covering your commodity

Covering bulk material isn't just about keeping the rain off. It protects the value of your stock, cuts your handling costs and keeps you on the right side of your environmental permit. Here's what a Eurodome building means in practice.

See the space up close

From clear-span bulk buildings to covered aggregate bays, take a look at the storage we design and build. Every one is engineered to its site and its material.

Commodity storage designed, manufactured & installed

Every Eurodome building is engineered to last and built around your operation. From the frame to the cover on top, the same team designs, manufactures and installs it, so nothing is left to chance. Here are the features that go into every one.

Built to take the load

Bulk stores take a hammering, so we build for it. Our dome timber barns have no steel frame to corrode, and where we use steel it is hot-dip galvanised after welding and coating, three times thicker and ten times harder than inline galvanising. The result stands up to dust, damp and daily loading for decades.

Long-lasting protection

The fabric cover is built to go the distance. Our Elite fabrics carry a 25-year warranty and standard fabrics 20 years, both engineered to resist UV, weather and daily wear. When the cover eventually reaches the end of its life, we can re-sheet the existing frame rather than replace the whole hangar.

Our clear-span design puts no columns in your way, from 7.3m up to 64m wide and in any length. That gives you the full floor to move aircraft, park equipment and lay the space out around your workflow, with the height and door width to bring larger airframes in and out without obstruction.

Column-free interiors

Accredited and certified

Eurodome holds the accreditations that count on airfield and public-sector sites: CHAS, Constructionline Gold and IPAF for safety and procurement, plus ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 for quality and environmental management. It's clear proof every hangar is designed, built and installed to recognised standards.

Water and run-off managed

For open bay storage, we manage water as carefully as the material. Fabric roofs on Legato-block or push walls, with skirts and gutters that channel rainwater away, keep your stockpiles dry and help contain run-off, so material stays saleable and your site stays compliant with its permit.

Custom sizing and capacity

No two operations are the same, so we size every structure around your material and your throughput. Capacity, height, span and access are all designed around what you store and how you move it, and modular designs let you add bays or extend as the operation grows or relocates.

Who we work with

Eurodome builds for the operations that handle materials in bulk, from quarries and aggregate producers to ports, processors, recyclers and local authorities. The same engineering, accreditations and single-team service that get us onto their sites are exactly what your operation needs to keep its stock dry and moving.

Let's talk about your storage

Speak to one of our experts about your operation. Tell us what you store, how much of it and how you move it, and we'll recommend the right building or bays. Call, email or fill out the form and we'll be straight back to you.
