Aviation and Aircraft Hangars
Found at airports and airfields around the world, aircraft hangars provide a safe, secure space to store, maintain and prepare aircraft for flight.
From small recreational planes to large commercial airliners, every aircraft needs the right infrastructure around it. Hangars range from compact stores for a single-engine plane to large-span structures holding several aircraft, built with high ceilings, wide doors and reinforced floors to suit the aircraft they house.
Eurodome's fabric buildings are engineered for wide clear spans and large interior capacity. They house aircraft for storage, maintenance and repair, and shelter pilots, passengers and ground crews whatever the weather. Interior layouts are fully customisable, and every hangar is engineered to your site, location and climate, as a permanent or temporary structure.
Grounded in decades of engineering
Eurodome designs, manufactures and installs buildings across the UK and Ireland, with a team that brings decades of combined engineering experience. From our base in Stirling, we've delivered more than 180 structures, from single-aircraft hangars to strategic stores holding tens of thousands of tonnes.
We handle every stage in-house: design, engineering, planning support, manufacture, groundworks and installation. One accountable team takes your project from first enquiry to handover, with no gaps between separate contractors.
And we hold the accreditations that matter on airfield and public-sector sites: CHAS, Constructionline Gold and IPAF, backed by ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 for quality and environmental management. It's the kind of track record that gives operators, airfields and procurement teams confidence.

Whatever you fly, we build for it
Whatever you fly, we can build the right hangar for it.
Aircraft storage hangars
Secure, weathertight cover for fixed-wing aircraft, from a single plane to a full fleet, with wide clear spans and no interior columns to work around.
MRO and maintenance
Bright, open workspaces for maintenance, repair and overhaul, with the height, clear span and door width to move aircraft in and out with ease.
Helicopter hangars
Compact, secure hangars for police, air ambulance, military and private helicopters, engineered to your rotor span and site.
Light and private aircraft
Right-sized hangars for recreational and light aircraft, giving private owners and flying clubs durable, low-maintenance cover for less than a permanent build.
The benefits of choosing a Eurodome hangar
Choosing a fabric hangar isn't a compromise. A Eurodome hangar gives you a bright, column-free space that costs less to run, adapts to how you work, and stands up to whatever the weather throws at it. Here's what that means in practice.
-
The translucent roof lets daylight flood the hangar, so your team can work on aircraft without relying on banks of artificial lighting. Built-in ventilation keeps the air moving and cuts condensation, protecting both your aircraft and the people working around them.
-
All that natural daylight means the lights can stay off for much of the day, and good airflow reduces the need for mechanical cooling. Across the life of the hangar, those savings on power and running costs add up to a real difference.
-
With no internal columns to work around, the whole floor is usable. That gives you room to manoeuvre aircraft, position equipment and reconfigure the layout as your operation changes, whether you're housing a single light aircraft or several airframes.
-
Every hangar is specified around how you work. Choose from wide hangar doors, personnel access points, windows, roof lights and ventilation, plus the electrics and fittings your ground crews need, all built in from the start rather than bolted on later.
-
Because light comes through the whole roof membrane rather than a handful of fixed fittings, the interior is bright and even, without the harsh shadows you get under spot lighting. That makes for a safer, easier space to carry out detailed maintenance.
-
Unlike many temporary structures, a Eurodome hangar can be insured for up to 100% of its replacement cost. That gives operators, owners and finance teams the confidence that the building is treated as the permanent asset it is.
Hangars up close
From wide clear-span interiors to finished exteriors, take a look at the fabric structures we design and build. Every one is engineered to the site it stands on.
Aviation and aircraft hangars designed, manufactured & installed
Every Eurodome hangar is engineered to last and built around your site. From the steel in the frame to the fabric over your head, the same team designs, manufactures and installs it, so nothing is left to chance. Here are the features that go into it
Hot-dip galvanised steel
Every steel truss is hot-dip galvanised after welding and coating, so even the cut edges and welds are fully protected against corrosion. The coating is around three times thicker and ten times harder than inline galvanised steel, which is why our frames keep their strength for decades on exposed airfield sites.
Long-lasting protection
The fabric cover is built to go the distance. Our Elite fabrics carry a 25-year warranty and standard fabrics 20 years, both engineered to resist UV, weather and daily wear. When the cover eventually reaches the end of its life, we can re-sheet the existing frame rather than replace the whole hangar.
Our clear-span design puts no columns in your way, from 7.3m up to 64m wide and in any length. That gives you the full floor to move aircraft, park equipment and lay the space out around your workflow, with the height and door width to bring larger airframes in and out without obstruction.
Column-free interiors
Accredited and certified
Eurodome holds the accreditations that count on airfield and public-sector sites: CHAS, Constructionline Gold and IPAF for safety and procurement, plus ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 for quality and environmental management. It's clear proof every hangar is designed, built and installed to recognised standards.
Customisable side openings and doors
Access is designed around your aircraft and your operation. Choose wide sliding or roller hangar doors, personnel doors and side openings positioned exactly where you need them, so ground crews and machinery can move freely and aircraft can be brought in and out quickly, whatever the size of the fleet.
Custom sizing
No two hangars are the same, so we size every structure to suit its job. Building height, span and interior clearance are all designed around the aircraft you house and the room you need to work around them, giving you a hangar that fits your site and operation rather than a fixed, off-the-shelf box.
Who we work with
Eurodome builds for demanding, safety-critical environments, from national highways and council depots to construction, logistics and transport sites. It's the same engineering, accreditations and single-team service that make us a natural fit for airfields and aviation operators who need hangar space they can rely on.
Let's talk about your hangar
Speak to one of our experts about your project. Tell us about your aircraft, your site and how you'll use the hangar, and we'll recommend the right structure. Call, email or fill out the form and we'll be straight back to you.
